Do you take insurance?
We are not in network with any insurance plans meaning we will not bill your insurance directly. However, you can utilize your FSA to pay for services, and we will also send you a superbill so that you are able to submit that to your insurance company for reimbursement.
What does OON mean?
OON means out of network, this means that we do not directly contract with your insurance company so we do not receive any sort of reimbursement from them.
What do I do with a superbill?
We will send you an electronic copy of the billing and diagnosis codes used for your visit, and you will be able to submit that directly to your insurance company. We cannot guarantee what amount they will reimburse, we strongly advise you reach out to them directly prior to your visit to determine what your out of network coverage is.
Why are you not in network with insurances?
Our goal is to provide you with the best possible treatment experience, not one that is dictated by insurance company restrictions and reimbursements. Our plan of care will be based solely off what you and your clinician decide is the best way to achieve your goals.
Do you offer packages?
Yes we offer a variety of packages. One of the most important factors in recovery and rehabilitation is consistency, our priority is to make sure that we are able to see you in a timely and consistent manner to optimize your experience.
What should I expect during my visit?
During your visit your Physical Therapist will be with you the entire time. We will conduct a full evaluation, and then work together to determine the best possible treatment for you moving forward. This will typically entail some sort of manual therapy to help improve pain and mobility, movement pattern analysis and retraining, and a focus on functional strengthening to help you achieve your best condition.
Do I need to be referred from a physician to seek physical therapy?
No you do not, in the state of California you are able to see a physical therapist directly. We are happy to refer you to a physician or collaborate with any of your physicians if that is a necessary part of treatment moving forward.
Can I see you if I have Medicare?
Medicare patients are unfortunately not permitted to pay for Physical Therapy services out of network. Therefore, we offer wellness packages in order to meet the needs of patients that wish to emphasize functional strength, mobility and balance in order to live their best life. Contact us to begin your wellness journey today!
